OsmoBlue officially registered in 2013 after a successful year in 2012 where it raised funds from foundations and competitions to start this adventure.
Currently OsmoBlue is a multidisciplinary team with a vision on how to impact the energy recovery field in our society.

Dr. Elodie Dahan
Graduated in microfluidics from "Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne" (EPFL) in 2008, after a M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering in Paris. She worked in the R&D team at RainDance Technologies, a biotech company located in Boston (USA). She worked on early stage development projects as well as product reliability. She is the co-inventor of the OsmoBlue Technology.
Dr. Anna Laromaine
Graduated in Chemistry from the Materials Science Institute of Barcelona (CSIC) in 2005. She has a strong international experience as a postdoctoral fellow at Imperial College London (UK), Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT), and Harvard University (USA). Her research is at the interface between Material Science, Chemical Biology and Nanotechnology. She holds 5 patents. She weaved a strong international network of collaborators. She is the co-inventor of the OsmoBlue Technology.
Dr. Brian Hutchison
Received a PhD in Chemical and Biological Engineering from the University of Colorado with a research focus on advanced polymer materials. He founded a company to commercialize a method to fabricate microfluidics devices, and since 2006, he is a R&D team leader at RainDance Technologies. He brings to the team his technical expertise in chemistry and materials technology, and experience in project management in a small business environment.
Dr. Nicolas Abelé
Is currently in charge of the technology (CTO) as well as the IP management at Lemoptix, a technology IP company that he co-founded in 2008. He holds numerous patents in the field of micro-technology and system-design. He graduated from "Ecole Polytechnique Fédérale de Lausanne" (EPFL) in 2007, after a double M.Sc. in Micro-technology (UK) and Electrical Engineering in Paris. He brings to the team his expertise in IP asset management, as well as startup experience and industrial background.
